Pixabay is probably the biggest candidate on our list. Housing a humongous 1.2 Milion Images, Pictures Illustrations, Vector Graphics and Videos, and constantly growing.

2. Unsplash

Unsplash is a never stops growing, our first encounter with Unsplash was when it had around 100 images, now, that’s being topped by over 300.000 images under the “Do whatever you want” license.

3. Pexels

Pexels provides high quality and completely free stock photos licensed under the Creative Commons Zero (CC0) license. All photos are nicely tagged, searchable and also easy to discover through our discover pages.

4. Coverr

Cover is here not for images, but for awesome stock videos. It’s really awesome in the sense that it’s licensed for commercial and noncommercial use.

5. Skuawk

Although the name gives us a head-ache when pronouncing, Skuawk has an awesome array of images from different categories of great interest. For example, Bussines, Sports, Landscapes, People, Wildlife and more. They also feature a premium bundle but beside it, all images are licensed as Creative Commons CC0

6. StockSnap

All photos uploaded on StockSnap are released for free under Creative Commons – CC0 and do not require attribution. No more hassle trying to figure out whether you can use photos for commercial use and whether you need to provide attribution.

7. Burst

Burst is a free stock photo site that is powered by Shopify. We have 1000’s of high quality and royalty-free images available and free to download. This includes a wide variety of images ready for you to choose from and create with.

8. Foter

Yes, foter, not Footer. It’s a monster site, featuring over 335 Million images. Be sure to check each license when using, it’s neatly added to the sidebar and can help you determine the use scenarios, but with 335 million images, finding the right one for you won’t be difficult.

Little visuals was a project built by a young man, 26 years old that passed away. The page is no longer getting new uploads but, the images there are dedicated to him and are Creative Commons 1.0, meaning, you can do absolutely whatever you want with them.

10. Gratisography

An absolutely awesome page for images. The amount of images here is quite immense, although the exact number is not mentioned the license makes this site incredibly attractive. It’s set to have no copyright restrictions and you can subscribe for new images.

11. Free Refe Mobile Photos

A small collection, but nevertheless worth mentioning. Over 300 free pictures and premium ones and the free pictures come with a CC0 attached, which is absolutely awesome.

12. Jay Mantri

An awesome site, small to be honest, but it offers absolutely free CC0 images, updated weekly.

Picography has around 200 images licensed however you like! It’s as simple as it gets

16. I’m Free

I’m free is a relatively new site on the market of photos and offers free web design resources all for commercial use!

An amazing page that has been around since 2014, and has racked up quite a few amazing images. Totally worth checking and enjoying the quality put into it.

Created by an Author from Creative market and housing a small but beautiful collection definitely worth checking.

25. The Google of Stock Photos – Furious Camera

Probably the best thing you can lay your eyes on, a page dedicated to searching through websites that offer free images! Be absolutely sure you always check the licenses of all images prior to use so you don’t end up with a DMCA on your future project!
