It’s been 12 days now since this … catastrophe started, and we’ve had countless coffee’s and long nights without sleep discussing and thinking of what we could say in such situation. Everything that can be said, has been said, and everything that can be done… seems not to be done. It’s a situation where words become useless, and actions are needed!

Our world has always been subjected to fights for power… and now we see, yet again, a large scale conflict that affects millions of innocent people that were simply living their lives, uninvolved in the political landscape that shaped this conflict.

Being part of an international environment and community such as Envato for more than 12 years, we know that the only way we, as humanity, can harmoniously evolve in this life is through unity, love and peace. We meet and collaborate with people from all around the world, from different cultures with different traditions and we have had amazing experiences with each and every one of them that formed long lasting friendships.

This can only happen from the unconditional cherishing of each others’ values, beliefs and traditions. The international community of creatives (programmers, video editors, writers, graphic designers, composers, copywriters etc.) always stood altruistically united. 

We are grateful to be among those who are currently able to express ourselves through the work we put in every day to deliver the absolute best for our customers.

However, now … now things change. Because war takes so many of these beautiful things away, causes unmeasurable pain … and it also takes the freedom of expression and speach away … and it shouldn’t. It mustn’t. War never brings anything good to the world, it makes everything stop. It brings only suffering. It takes all the advancements that humanity made and reduces them to the primordial concept of individuality: survival.

People who had nothing to do with world politics are being evacuated from their homes, innocent children suffer from the irresponsibility and greed of people we should look up to as responsible adults, leaders…  and entire communities and families are being destroyed… for what? 

We cannot emphasise more the importance of peace and we cannot express through words what we are feeling right now for all the people that are harmed, lost their lives or their loved ones and suffer the consequences of other people actions.

Our hearts and thoughts are with the people affected. We will do everything in our powers to help everyone who is going through hardships due to the current events. Light always prevails. 

If you would like to help and contribute to the current causes of those who were dragged in a war they never wanted to be part of, be sure you take precaution. Even in these sad moments, there are still those with harmful intentions, trying to make a quick buck off the suffering of others.

For those that are currently in Ukraine, we are currently living in the lower parts of Eastern Europe, where refugee camps have been setup. If there is anything we can do to assist you in getting out of Ukraine, please reach us via our contact form (link). We can get you in touch with the right people to help you evacuate, and aid you in finding shelter. We know there are bad actors out there that will try to take advantage of your situation, and this is why you can count on us. We only provide contacts from official Refugee Organizations, and we urge you, to seek help only from organizations like these. We’re here for you if you need help and can’t find these yourselves.
